Quilted with love using Rifle Paper Co’s brand new Christmas fabric collection, the gold and silver foil accents along with the Nutcracker characters, charming outdoor scenes, and coordinating colors are sure to bring a touch of whimsy to your Christmas decorations this year.
Featuring 100% natural cotton fabric and batting (the stuff inside that makes it slightly fluffy like a quilt), this heirloom-quality quilted advent calendar is naturally beautiful and and will hang proudly on your wall for years to come.
Cut, quilted, and sewn by me in my home studio in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The advent calendar measures approximately 20” tall and 20” wide, and has 25 pockets, one for each day in December leading up to Christmas. Twenty-five numbered heavy-duty cardstock cards are included. You can write down special activities on the cards, and do one each day. Or you can slip small treats or toys in the pockets and keep track of the days by using the numbered cards.
Features fabric pockets on the back to hold a thin wooden dowel for hanging (you can make your own or choose to have it included at checkout.)
If you choose to make your own, choose a wooden dowel that is approximately 1/4" in diameter, and cut it to 19" long. It will fit neatly in the pockets and then you can hang it directly on two nails, two hooks, or tie a string on it to hang on one nail or one hook.
The advent calendar can also be easily hung up using two thumbtacks (not included).
Calendar is lined on the back with creamy white fabric and is machine washable. Machine wash cold, lay flat to dry. Warm iron if needed.
While this advent calendar is sewn with care and will be a part of your Christmas decor for the foreseeable future, it is not made to hold very heavy items. The included paper cards and small treats or toys fit perfectly in the pockets, but large or heavy items are not recommended.

Pretty packaging
Pretty packaging comes standard on all orders now! Think brown kraft gift box, cream ribbon, and white tissue paper or crinkle paper, whichever makes more sense for your specific item. Gift boxes are packaged inside sturdy shipping boxes so they will arrive in tip-top shape.
The holiday season is soon approaching, and shoppers are encouraged to place orders well in advance to ensure enough time for shipping!
Shipping carriers are still experiencing high volumes and delays that will only increase as we get closer and closer to Christmas.
First class shipping with USPS is the standard option. There are no guarantees or insurance with this shipping method, and once the package is accepted by the post office, it’s out of my hands. If a package is lost, I’ll do my best to help find it, but I can’t be responsible for packages once accepted by the post office.
Priority mail is a 2-3 day shipping upgrade with the USPS. This method includes insurance but no guaranteed delivery. It is usually faster than first class because these packages take priority and will usually be handled faster. Again, there are no guaranteed delivery dates with priority mail, and once a package is accepted by the post office, it’s no longer my responsibility.
Priority express shipping is the only guaranteed shipping method from the USPS. You can purchase this upgrade if you need something guaranteed by a certain date. If it does not arrive by the guaranteed date, I’ll work with you to obtain a refund for the shipping cost only, or for the shipping + item cost if you no longer need it and choose to send it back.
If you want to ship using FedEx or UPS, please message me and I can set up a special listing for the shipping cost.
For all of the above mentioned shipping methods, there are bound to be delays and lost packages near the holidays. While I certainly hope that this will not be the case for your package, I encourage you to buy early and/or upgrade your shipping to ensure your package gets to you in a timely manner.
If a package is marked as delivered and you haven’t received it, please check with your neighbors, then contact your local post office. They may instruct you to fill out a missing mail form online. I cannot be held responsible for packages misplaced by the postal service.
Long story short: shop early and upgrade your shipping! :)
